37 Hours per Week, 39 Weeks per Year

Salary: Point 18

£15,443 per annum (Actual Salary)

The Northworthy Trust are inviting applications for the above post based at Merrill Academy in Derby. The successful applicant will be professional, adaptable, and dedicated to providing a high level of learning support in all areas of the Academy. They will have strong communication skills with the ability to work well within a team, yet able to work unsupervised utilising their own initiative. They will be able to demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behavior, which are expected of students and establish a safe and supportive environment.  The postholder will enable all pupils to access the full Curriculum and achieve their full potential, in both their Academic and personal development.

In addition, the applicant will be able to demonstrate their experience of working in a similar role and their suitability to working within a busy secondary school environment. GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above in Maths, English and Science are essential.  Relevant professional qualifications and/or a First Aid qualification are desirable.
