The Oldham Academy North is in the top 3% of schools nationally for Pupil Progress and this year’s Progress 8 figure was an impressive +0.83. We are located in a new £18 million building serving the communities of Oldham and Royton. We achieved a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating in all areas in May 2016.

We are seeking to appoint inspirational and innovative Temporary Teacher of Humanities, to further raise achievement and to deliver high quality education within the Humanities Faculty. A Geography specialism is desirable but not essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school that truly values the development of their staff. The successful candidate has the opportunity to benefit from personalised CPD during their contract. 

We are searching for someone who has the skills to, grow and develop outstanding practice. You will have the ambition to be an outstanding classroom practitioner. You will be able to demonstrate the professional and personal qualities necessary to inspire our students and our staff.
