The Academy
Nunthorpe is a very popular outstanding co-educational 11 – 19 comprehensive Academy with approximately 1600 students on roll.
Nunthorpe Academy is the lead Teaching School in the North East Schools Teaching Alliance – NESTA. Through this ‘school led’ system of self-improvement we focus on the key areas of School to School Support; Professional Development; Specialist Leaders of Education and Initial Teacher Training & Succession Planning
The Faculty
We are a large, experienced and established faculty with 13 full time and 2 part time teachers and also a full time support assistant.

The Candidate
We require an energetic, inspirational and talented teacher with a genuine intellect and passion for ‘Mathematics’ education to teach across KS3 and KS4; with possible opportunities to teach KS5.
The successful candidate will have the ability and potential to consistently deliver outstanding lessons; and be ambitious for the achievement of every student in their care.

Nunthorpe Academy is a mainstream, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Nunthorpe, Middlesbrough, and has over 1600 students.
