Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented audio-visual specialist to play a key role providing technical and AV support throughout the school. 

The creative arts are thriving at Croydon High with strong engagement across Art, 3D Design, Drama and Music at all key stages as well as a broad, busy and exciting co-curricular programme. This role will see you will take responsibility for the provision of high quality technical, audio-visual support for all school productions, performances, concerts, rehearsals, drama examinations, school events, lessons and certain external functions. 

The position requires a good knowledge of stage lighting and sound technology and the IT skills required to support staff with events and productions. Your knowledge of audio-visual equipment will be excellent, and you will be dealing with a wide variety of people at all levels, so candidates must be effective communicators, with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work as part of a team.

The role requires the ability to work flexibly across days, evenings and weekends to support productions as required.
