Harrow School is situated in Harrow on the Hill in north-west London and is one of the best-known schools in the world. Around 830 boys’ study at Harrow and live in the School’s 12 boarding houses. Harrow School is seeking a Theatre Technician. The technician occupies a vital role in the Drama and Theatre Department, assisting in the creation and realisation of high-quality productions across the academic year in collaboration with staff and pupils. They will engage with school wide events that take place with the theatre across the calendar year. As part of the core Theatre Production team, the technician will take responsibility for a variety of tasks and roles under the leadership of the Production Manager.

This role would suit a proactive, skilled technician who can work flexibly and creatively across a range of disciplines. They should have a relevant degree, theatre technical training or appropriate professional qualifications with good working experience. We are looking for an organised, methodical person who can prioritise tasks, someone with an eye for detail who cares about upholding the production standards that give the Ryan Theatre a first-class reputation. They will be expected to adapt to and contribute to production work in a fast-paced environment.
