Situated in the heart of one of Surrey’s traditional market towns, Reigate College is one of the most successful sixth form providers in the UK. Described by Ofsted as “outstanding” on every measure we are a National Teaching School, known for quality, success and innovation.
The College has substantial, successful experience of training teachers. Applicants must have a relevant degree and must be able to demonstrate a commitment to a career in teaching.
The College works closely with Canterbury Christ Church University to provide an excellent route to train as a teacher part-time whilst you work. Aimed mainly at those wanting to teach in the post-16 sector, our Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE-Level 6) programme also offers the opportunity to be qualified to teach in schools. The trainee will divide their time between teaching and learning support duties. The College will pay for the PGCE course fees.
