Job overview

As an accounting trainer assessor you will be required to deliver theory aspects of the programmes. You will provide on-going support and guidance to individuals and groups of learners, utilising resource packages and on-going assessment. 

You ideally will be qualified to at least level 4 within Accounting and hold an assessor qualification (desirable).   You will be a highly self-motivated, energetic and driven individual, encompassing a strong sense of autonomy.  

You will possess strong presentation and communication skills and be able to demonstrate achievement of targets.  

The role will require you to embed the college’s values; working with Professionalism, taking Responsibility for your actions, and giving Respect to clients and colleagues alike.

About Vision West Nottinghamshire College

Vision West Nottinghamshire College is a mixed, non-denominational further education college in Nottinghamshire serving students from the age of 16 and above. The college has approximately 1,200  full and part-time students attending every year. The college has six sites based in Ashfield and Mansfield. 

Vision West Nottinghamshire College was established as a Technical College in 1928. It was renamed Vision West Nottinghamshire College in 2011. Facilities across the campuses include an engineering innovation centre, art and design centre, sports hall, a hair and beauty training salon and a training restaurant for catering and hospitality students to train in.
