The department of Childcare and Education is looking to appoint a suitably qualified individual to the role of Trainer for Childcare and Education.

18.5 hours per week

£11,840 - £12,911 actual salary

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate, through prior achievement, their passion, commitment and drive, to ensure Childcare Apprentices develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to ensure Barnsley College maintains its outstanding reputation to deliver the next generation of outstanding childcare practitioners.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Programme Manger and Senior Trainer, be responsible for their caseload, quality and compliance, planning and delivering excellence in teaching, learning and assessment. 

All staff will be also be expected to engage in a challenging personal development programme which aims to ensure that they have the knowledge, skills and competencies required to successfully  succeed in this role.
