Transformation Team - Project and Administrative Support

Part time, temporary position until 2024


Purpose of the position: 

In the context of actively supporting the Mission of Catholic education in the Diocese of Lismore, the primary purpose of this position is to work with the Transformation Manager and Team to support the Board and Director in the implementation of a new model of governance and management of the Catholic Schools in the Diocese. This role supports the Transformation Manager and Team by providing project and administrative support for all projects relating to the transition to the new governance model. 

 Applicants must:

  • Commitment to working in harmony with Catholic Values and Principles
  • Have a current NSW Working with Children Check
  • Have a working knowledge of WH&S and equity in employment and a demonstrated capacity to apply related principles and policies.

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high quality administrative and project support
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to work well independently, and cooperatively within a team environment
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in agile and ambiguous situations
  • Ability to overcome obstacles and problem solve issues
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook and Word. Experience in the use of project management software is desirable.
