Bolton School Services Limited is looking to appoint an Administrator to assist the Transport Manager in the day to day running of the department. Some of the main duties will include organising the diary with regard to driver’s schedules and preparing drivers work sheets, generating and checking invoices, and liaising with parents and external coach hire contracts.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in administration, working in a logistics environment, managing drivers and planning drivers’ work sheets in accordance with the EU drivers’ hours’ rules. They will be educated to GCSE (Grades A-C) level or equivalent. They must be experienced in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. The candidate must also possess a high level of customer service, excellent oral and written communication skills, be able to remain calm under pressure and have the ability to organise their own workload.
