The Role of the Tuckshop Convenor is to be responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the tuckshop. Please address the following criteria in your application: SELECTION CRITERIA: SC1 Demonstrated ability to lead, plan, organise and control the day-to-day operations of the tuckshop including finance. SC2 Ability to build morale, motivate and generally relate well to students, volunteers and staff. SC3 Experience in a food service and knowledge of the nutritional requirements of school- aged children SC4 Demonstrated organisational skills, initiative and enthusiasm. SC5 Willingness to accept and support the school’s behaviour management plan. ADDITIONAL FACTOR: The commission for Children and Young People Act 2000 (QLD) states that people seeking work with children must make application for, and be able to obtain, a suitability card from the Commission for Children and Young People. The prospective employee is responsible for the cost of this check and the subsequent issue of the suitability card.


Our Lady of the Rosary School (OLR) is a Catholic Primary Co-educational School located at 1 Kenmore Rd, Kenmore. Student enrolment is approximately 474 students. Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required:   19.5 Hours over 3 days per week. (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   Services Staff Level 3.1

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019


This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
