Salary:  £11.00 per hour

This is a part-time role (5 days) from Monday 13th September 2021 until  Wednesday 26th January 2021. Working hours are from 8:15am to 3:15pm.

Due to increased sixth form numbers Langley Park School for Girls is seeking to appoint an inspirational and hardworking graduate who strongly believes in the benefits of university to join us as a UCAS Advisor.  LPGS is a thriving and academically successful.  2019 results were the best ever at both GCSE and A-Level.  

You will have high academic standards for yourself and for the students you work with.  You will have some experience of supporting students through the UCAS process and effectively work tirelessly to improve your own skills and expertise.

You will be dedicated to improving the life chances of the young people that we work with, including those from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds. You will be a confident professional who is able to organise events and network effectively with representatives from a range of universities, charities and other educational providers.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player and confident user of MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel etc.), with a positive attitude to working with both students and staff.  Being highly organised with effective time management skills is essential in managing this diverse workload, as is attention to detail.  

The successful candidate will work in the sixth form, situated in the common room office.
