An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic Lecturer to join the Visual Arts team. 

The successful candidate will be a clear communicator with a passion for their subject and have a general knowledge of Art and Design and Silversmithing.

The new team member would be expected to work well in classroom based teaching and assessing, also offering subject tutor support and course leadership to particular groups. The hours of work may include evening and weekend sessions. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining high levels of student attendance, retention and achievement.

The successful candidate will have both vocational and teaching experience and a related undergraduate qualification, plus a teaching qualification, and a qualification in English and mathematics at minimum Level 2. 

Good administration and interpersonal skills are essential.
