Student Support Worker
Learning for Living & Work
£10.04 per hour
Variable hours
The Department of Learning for Living and Work is currently seeking a Support Worker to contribute to the effective delivery of a varied programme of personal and curriculum support for learners with learning difficulties and disabilities. The post holder will actively promote social inclusion working with individuals or small groups of learners to ensure that they are able to access the College and the curriculum.
The successful candidates will have a relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent), GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent level 2 qualification), a Level 3 Teaching qualification AET/PTLLS (or willingness to work towards) or Level 2 Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards) along with relevant work experience.
