Skinners’ Academy, Hackney, is seeking a new Vice Principal from April 2019, following the promotion of the current post holder to the headship of a very large neighbouring school.
The Academy is an oversubscribed, vibrant, multi-cultural comprehensive school serving a significantly deprived area of London, but with an enviable reputation for extremely high standards of pupil behaviour and Wellbeing both locally and beyond.
In addition to continually rising academic standards (consistently above national average) the Academy is also proud of its commitment to extra-curricular activities and to the development of the whole person: sport, music and drama all thrive.
The Vice Principal is involved in all aspects of the Academy’s development and day to day management (including all academic and curricular matters) but has a specific responsibility for Safeguarding, Wellbeing and the Academy’s highly developed pastoral system.
We are seeking someone with the relevant drive, determination, experience and skill set to help lead the Academy to even greater success in the future.
