An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vice-Principal to replace our Deputy Headteacher from January 2019.

The Governors/Trustees are seeing an enthusiastic, inspirational and dynamic Vice-Principal who is an outstanding SEND Teacher and a leader with proven skills to share the values and vision of our school in an ever changing educational landscape.

The successful person will:

• have passion, vision and determination to inspire the teaching and support staff to deliver the highest level of learning to meet the SEN of the children and young people of Thomas Wolsey Ormiston Academy;
• be a strong advocate to motivate, challenge and support children, young people, staff and families;
• have extensive classroom experience, in depth knowledge of SEN and interdisciplinary working;
• are highly successful at leading and developing assessment across a special school setting.

Thomas Wolsey Ormiston Academy is a consistently outstanding special school catering for children between the ages of 3 and 16 years with physical, medical and/or sensory needs and learning difficulties.
