VISITING TEACHERS OF SPEECH, DRAMA AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Well-qualified teachers of Speech, Drama and Communication Skills are required from September 2018 to teach in this dynamic, supportive and high achieving school, in either the Junior or Senior Departments. Candidates can apply to teach in either department, or across the two departments, and should tailor their application accordingly. In the Senior Department there are 2-4 days per week of teaching available, preparing students aged 12-18 for public examinations, performances and auditions. In the Junior Department there are 3 full days of teaching available, working with students aged 7-11. Both departments follow the Trinity Guildhall specifications.
We would be happy to receive applications from industry professionals seeking to move into teaching but candidates must have a demonstrable commitment to working with young people. These are part-time posts with hourly rates of pay, with flexible hours subject to termly review.
An application pack is available from the school’s website www.lehs.org.uk. Applications must be made on the school’s own form, to include a supporting statement, and should be sent to email@example.com. CVs will not be considered and should not be submitted.
The closing date is 5pm on Friday 1st June 2018. Interviews will be held in the week beginning 11th June.
LEH is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
All applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening,
including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service(DBS).
