The GORSE Academies Trust is an outstanding education provider in Leeds that serves over 9,000 students in its four primary academies, five secondary academies, sixth form college and alternative provision academy. The GORSE Volleyball Club is open to all of its students.
Volleyball is a priority sport at The GORSE Academies Trust and we are targeting success at Volleyball England’s national junior competitions. This focus, coupled with the scale of our talent pool, makes this one of the most exciting programmes in junior volleyball.
Programmes are now established in all of our secondary academies and we are planning on expanding to our primary academies, sixth form college and alternative provision academy in September 2019. Our secondary academies will run programmes up to J16 level, with the most capable athletes from each secondary school progressing to the Trust performance squad.
We now need to add to our coaching staff and are seeking to appoint a full time Volleyball coach to start in September 2019. This colleague will be responsible for the development of volleyball across the Trust with a key focus on our primary academies.
