We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Welfare Officer to the Hermitage family.


Welfare Officer

25 hours per week, term time only 

Maternity Cover

£11,527 - £11,795 per annum inclusive of Outer London Weighting, Scale 3

Location: Uxbridge, Middlesex 

Work Pattern: 10:00am - 3:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break to be taken outside of pupils' lunch time (Monday to Friday)

Start Date: January 2019 (or sooner if possible)


We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Welfare Officer to the Hermitage family. 


The ideal candidate will be a kind and patient individual who can support children at their most vulnerable time; when they are not feeling well.

The successful candidate will:

• have a clear understanding of medical protocol;

• have the ability to create trusting relationships with pupils;

• be able to develop effective relationships with parents and carers;

• have excellent communication skills;

• work well as part of a team;

• be keen to develop skills and experience, and share these with other staff.

Hermitage opened in 1968 and is a community school located in Uxbridge.
