Work Based Short Course Tutor in Grounds Maintenance-Fixed Term January 2018-December 2018

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Work Based Tutor in Grounds maintenance to join the Short Course Unit at a very exciting time. 

As part of the role you will be required to undertake delivery and assessment of a range of short courses for grounds maintenance and vehicle driving related courses. Key aspects of the role include the delivery of theory and practical’s on all aspects of a range of courses such as grounds maintenance equipment, including brush cutters and mowers, tractor training and ATVs.

The successful candidate must have industry experience in a level 3 industry specific qualification, along with GCSE (or equivalent) maths & English. No teaching experience necessary but you must be willing to work towards a teaching qualification within an agreed timescale (if not already obtained). 

Hours are 22.2 per week.

Salary: £18,208 to £26,097 per annum, pro rata relating to qualifications and experience.
