An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our Transition & Progression Team. The main objective of the post is to lead and coordinate all activities relating to work experience and other work related activities as part of student study programmes.
The role includes building effective working relationships with local and regional employers, liaising with students and academic staff to ensure students gain worthwhile placements and associated skills. Ideally applicants will have worked with young people or in a training environment, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
A high level of IT proficiency and attention to detail is particularly important. The post holder would be required to work 35 hours per week, on a term time only basis plus an additional 2 weeks.
A satisfactory criminal records check is required before the commencement of this position.
