Year 1 and Year 6 Teacher - St Eugene College, BURPENGARY

The successful applicant will:

 

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
• hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  
  

We are seeking two primary classroom teachers for Year 1 and Year 6 until the end of 2019, with the possibility of extending this into part of 2020. Both of these positions will be Maternity Leave contracts. To be successful in this role you will be able to meet the following criteria: appropriate qualifications and experience, effective communication skills, an ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers, an ability to attend to detail in innovative and creative practices, a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum and BCE Excellent Learning and Teaching practices. As this position requires classroom teaching of Religious Education, applicants must be Catholic.

Employment Tenure:   Full Time (Term-Time) + Fixed Term

Tenure Duration (if "Fixed Term"):  Year 1 Position - 13/5/19 to end of Term 4. Year 6 Position - 10/6/19 to end of Term 4
