£165– 200 per day PAYE 

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are to hold QTS (essential).

Contract dates: September 2021 – July 2022

The role

Smart Teachers are seeking to recruit a Year 1 Teacher to join a 2 form entry school in Willesden, North West London. The successful Year 1 Teacher will be responsible for the planning, delivery and assessment of the curriculum. The school’s is looking to appoint a passionate Year 1 Teacher to join their ambitious and skilled KS1 team. This is a maternity cover post for the duration the of 2021/22 academic year but there is opportunity for re-employment beyond this point. Both experienced teachers and NQT’s are welcome to apply. 

The school

The school caters for a diverse cohort of pupils, with higher than average percentage of pupils with English as an additional language. The current Head has made a lot of positive improvements, which resulted in the school being awarded ‘Good’ in their last Ofsted. The school prides itself on achieving high levels of attainment whilst also ensuring the well being needs of both the pupils and staff are met. The SLT pride themselves on the happy environment they have created, where pupils are excited about attending school. The school offers spacious classrooms and outside space, good resources and an onsite car park.

Requirements

To be considered for the Year 1 Teacher position, you will:

• Hold an enhanced DBS 

• Have previous experience working with children in the UK in the past 2 years 

• Hold QTS
