Smart Teachers is recruiting for a Year 1 Teacher / KS1 Teacher to join a ‘Good’ three-form primary school in the borough of Croydon. You’ll be joining a highly supportive collaborative team and have access to extensive professional development opportunities. This is a full time permanent Year 1 Teacher / KS1 Teacher teaching role.

In order to be considered for this role, The Year 1 Teacher / KS1 Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

· Hold a Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree

· Have recent experience teaching the UK, or an equivalent, curriculum

· Have a clear understanding of the UK curriculum and the ability to create an engaging and challenging learning environment 

· Have exceptional communication, literacy and numeracy skills

· Be eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

· Have exceptional written and spoken English skills 

· Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
