Queen’s Gate is a thriving GSA day school for girls aged 4 –18 and is ideally situated in Central London to take advantage of the many educational opportunities on offer. The Junior School occupies its own buildings in Queen’s Gate within close proximity of the Senior School with which it enjoys close links, including the use of specialist staff and facilities.
We require, from 1st January 2020, a suitably qualified teacher for our thriving Junior School to cover maternity leave in Year 2. The successful candidate should have experience of teaching Key Stage 1, and ideally experience of other years also. Flexibility, high expectations and a willingness to work as part of a team are all desirable attributes. Experience of independent schools would also be an advantage.

About Queen's Gate School
Queen's Gate School is an all-through independent day school for girls aged 4-18, housed in five Victorian buildings in South Kensington, London. There are around 500 pupils on roll, with a wide range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, reflecting the diversity of the city.
Queen's Gate School was founded in 1891 by Miss Eleanor Beatrice Wyatt in her parents' home. The present site was acquired in 2005. The school is an educational trust overseen by a board of governors.
