A Year 3 teacher is required for an on-going part time position, at a busy school in Frankley, south west Birmingham. The role will be starting after Easter half term and will continue on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year, however this may be extended into September 2019.
The position is a temporary 0.6 contract and will be working on a job share basis within a large Y3 class. You will be required to focus on literacy within your share of the role and you will be required to plan and share your ideas, as part of a team.
The successful candidate must be a proactive and engaging teacher who can quickly build positive and friendly relationships with both colleagues and pupils. You must demonstrate excellent KS2 curriculum knowledge, have excellent behaviour management skills, and be able to engage with pupils of varying levels of ability.

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in ‘Child Workforce’ which must be registered on The Update Service. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you.
We will need to gain references to cover the last 2 years, and a minimum of 2 references must be a school based. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
