The successful applicant will:

  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
  • hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher with a deep knowledge of contemporary curriculum and pedagogy for a Year 3 classroom position. The successful candidate will be collaborative in curriculum planning, use of resources, assessment and pedagogy; and be familiar with data informed planning and differentiated learning.

St Mark's Primary School is situated in the western suburbs of Brisbane. It prides itself on the community spirit displayed by students, teachers and parents. Our current enrolment is approximately 500 students.  We encourage students to develop a knowledge of other cultures, languages and environmental and social issues.

This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
