Falcons Prep - Richmond is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic class teacher to join our team from September 2020.
This post requires an educationalist who is clear-sighted and a person of integrity. S/he must have a good level of technical skills and where possible, experience using SIMS. It is a significant role in Falcons’ strong and committed community and is line managed by the SLT with whom s/he works closely and professionally. An excellent educational understanding of key issues and organisational abilities, efficiency, humour and energy are a requirements of the position.
We are looking for a KS2 teacher who is experienced, computer literate, understands school protocols and policies, and is willing to make a full contribution to school life. S/he has a good working knowledge of child protection issues and safeguarding and undertakes the appropriate training as s/he will liaise with the Designated Safeguarding Lead on related and highly confidential matters. S/he must at all times be friendly, approachable, discrete and supportive.
It is a role which requires excellent communication skills and a high level of commitment and enthusiasm.
Falcons Prep - Richmond is an independent, day school for boys aged 4-13 (currently 7-13), situated on the outskirts of Old Deer Park and Richmond Rugby Club, just a 5 minute walk from the train station.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am until 5pm.

Salary: Dependent on skills and experience and in line with the Alpha Plus pay scale.
