A primary school in the Aston area has approached ABC Teachers for a ‘dedicated’ and ‘passionate’ practitioner to cover a maternity leave in their Year 4 class.

The current class teacher will be leaving towards the end of the academic year. Therefore the Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who will be able to start at the beginning of July in order for a complete handover to be given. The class will consist of 27 pupils and there is an experienced TA on hand for classroom support on a full time basis. She has been working with the class for two years now whilst they have progressed up the school so has extensive experience regarding particular children’s needs, which will be a huge help for the new teacher.

The school itself has recently been rated as ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding features’ from Ofsted, making this a desirable and sought after school to get into.
