A great opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to build on their training and start their induction period October 2021.

The Role

This will be a full-time position teaching in a Year 4 class as part of a creative and forward-thinking key stage 2 team. As the school are looking for applications from NQTs/ECTs, there will be no curriculum responsibilities and the successful candidate will be supported by an NQT/ECT mentor within their department.

The school

This is a small, one-form entry school in Preston. An Ofsted graded as 'Good' school with a whole-school approach to managing behaviour; and the children's progress from KS1 to the end of KS2.

Requirements

To be considered for this NQT/ECT  position, you will: 

Hold QTS status in the UK 

Have experience teaching in KS2 whilst on teacher training placement 

Have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check 

Have experience working in mainstream British Schools and be able to demonstrate teaching excellence.
