About Our Lady Of Sion College

Our Lady of Sion College is an all-girls, non-selective, Roman Catholic, independent secondary school in Victoria, serving students from the age of 11-18. The secondary school is situated in Box Hill. There are approximately 890 students on record and over 100 members of staff. 

Our Lady of Sion College was founded in 1928. Community plays an important role at the school and parents are encouraged to get involved with its active Parents’ Association. The school has an iPad programme in place, seeing students benefit from working with a tablet in class to further support their learning.

Facilities

The secondary school has a wide range of modern learning facilities, including science laboratories, sports courts, expansive playing grounds and computer suites. Classrooms benefit from interactive whiteboards. 

Curriculum 

The school offers a broad and balanced learning curriculum designed around the VELS and Australian Curriculum. Extra help is on offer for SEN students, including the use of additional learning aids, while pupils who speak English as a second language are also supported through additional language classes. There is a strong focus on music at the school, and the music department encourages children to be passionate about and appreciate listening, playing and performing.
