Required for September 2018 or January 2019, an enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher to join our Achievement Team as Year Leader for the Lower Sixth. All subject specialisms will be considered.
The successful candidate will work with the Director of Sixth Form, Form Tutors and Pastoral Managers to improve progress and achievement of pupils in the Lower Sixth, preparing them for their next stage of learning.
The role involves a combination of strategic leadership of school systems, management of the education, social, emotional needs of individuals, and the tracking and monitoring of student progress, planning any required interventions. Liaison with parents, staff, SLT and members of the community is key to maintaining positive outcomes and relationships with students and promoting the vision, ethos and aims of the school.
