The successful applicant will:

 

  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
  • hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

A 12 month full time contract for a Yr 7-10 teacher of RE, English and SOSE exists for 2019. The ability to teach these subjects is essential as is a demonstrated knowledge of Queensland Curriculum initiatives. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to the education of young women and the Co-Curricular life of the College, have proven organisational abilities and effective communication skills.

St John Fisher College is a Catholic secondary college offering a contemporary education for young women. Administered by Brisbane Catholic Education the College has an enrolment of 528 students in 2018. With an emphasis on inquiry based learning, the College offers an academically challenging curriculum and a diverse range of pathways, particularly in the senior years.
