A full unit of work looking at a selection of poems written during World War 1, Created for a unit lasting for 11 1hr lessons. Includes all deatiled lesson plans and worksheets as well as various differentiated tasks. I normally show an episode of Blackadder, the film 'All Quiet on the Western Front' or a documentary on WW1 in order to act as a prompt for some of the activites and to give a fuller background on the conflict and the conditions of the soldiers. Assessment in the form of a critical essay and creative writing.
