She is a perfect inspirational figure to use as part of a Victorian unit or as a comparison to Florence Nightingale, Edith Cavell and Elizabeth Garrett-Anderson. These Reading Comprehension worksheets are suitable for advanced ESL learners. The bundle comprises of small biographies for three historical figures celebrated during the month's of January and February namely: George Washington (first president of the United States), Abraham Lincoln (16th president of the United States - served during the Civil War) and Martin Luther King Jr. (Baptist Minister - leader of the Civil Rights Movement) The texts describe the life, work, and political contribution of these figures.
