This resource explores lots of different emotions to allow children to see the connection their thoughts have with their feelings, physical sensations and actions. When you think happy thoughts it makes you feel better both physically and mentally and your actions are more positive as opposed to when you think worrying thoughts or angry thoughts. Who is in school today? - Visual poster for children with Autism

Who is in school today? - Visual poster for children with Autism

This poster is a simple strategy to ensure your pupils know who is in class, at home or in school. I find this product really useful for pupils with Autism who find change of staff difficult. It helps pupils to deal with anxiety of you being out of class for PPA, staff absence or change of staff. It can be used in advance to prepare the pupils for the next day/ for the afternoon etc. It also works very nicely as part of a morning group session, allowing the pupils to sign themselves or their peers in to school. Just print small photographs of each pupil and staff and add Velcro to board. Best printed in A3 for a small class. Please leave feedback and follow for more Special Education resources.
