KS4 C12.6 Reduce, reuse and recycle

https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/shop/matthewharman777 Be weird, be funny, be gross, have fun, play, stick to your routines and find that little spark of madness we all have and electrocute the class with it! My style of teaching isn’t for everyone, I’m a dyslexic teacher who’s heard it all, my lessons are all catered towards accessibility (because if they were not I’d never be able to read them myself). Everything is short sharp and to the point, I don’t believe in endless writing, reams of printing, spoon feeding diagrams or pointless activities. Every minute matters! Be sure to check out all my other resources, as a personal goal I intend to share all my resources at least once because hey, the government isn’t going to make it easier and we both know you are reading this way outside of your work hours. Enjoy, comment or rate if you can, but most of all hang in there, they need you way more than you realise!

300 SCIENCE Starter Activities KS3 GCSE Chemistry Physics Biology Keywords Cover Lessons Settlers

300 x starter-style wordsearches, crosswords, anagrams, alphabet analysers and IDEA analysers. For some themes there are more than one activity, so there's more than 300 in total. Powerpoint is 479 slides long in total. There are at least: 60 x Wordsearches 60 x Crosswords 60 x Anagram Sheets 60 x Alphabet Brainstorm Analysers 60 x IDEA (Identify, Describe, Explain, Apply) Analysers Covering 60 themes including: 1. Living Organisms 2. Nutrition, Digestion & Excretion 3. Respiration 4. Transport in Plants 5. Nerves & Hormones 6. Health & Disease 7. Reproduction 8. Inheritance & Genetics 9. Ecosystems & Habitats 10. Evolution 11. Solids, Liquids & Gases 12. Atomic Structure 13. Quantitative Chemistry 14. Metals 15. Organic Chemistry 16. Acids, Alkalis & Salts 17. Energy 18. Crude Oil & Fuels, 19. Chemical Industry 20. Earth & The Environment 21. Forces & Movement 22. Electricity 23. Waves 24. Magnetism 25. Energy 26. Solids, Liquids & Gases 27. Space 28. Atoms & Radiation 29. Chemical Elements 30. Inventions 31. Chemical Bonds 32. Chemical Elements 33. Covalent Bonds 34. Elements 1-20 35. Gases 36. Liquids 37. Nuclear Chemistry 38. Solids 39. Thermochemistry 40. Units of Measurement 41. Fluids 42. Motion 43. Pressure 44. Radioactivity 45. Sound 46. Stars 47. The Universe 48. The Water Cycle 49. Nuclear Physics 50. Thermal Physics 51. Digestive System 52. Energy 53. Homeostasis 54. Macrobiology 55. Microbiology 56. Molecules 57. Osmosis 58. Population Dynamics 59. Units of Measurement 60. Units of Temperature For each theme there are four activities (wordsearch, anagrams, crosswords and alphabet analysers), totalling 240 activities. For some themes there are more than one of each so there's more than 240 altogether. Includes space for students to explain the keywords and suggested extension activities. Can take 10 minutes or an hour, depending on which activities the students complete. Ideal for the start of a lesson, a quick filler, a homework, part of a cover lesson or as a plenary on the board with a whiteboard pen. The idea behind these is to get students to become more literate and think independently about the words that could be used to describe the topic being taught. Often the students will pick up on things that you would not normally expect!

The repetition of the word over and over as they look for the word is useful in remembering the terms. Often the students will pick up on things that you would not normally expect!

AQA A-Level Chemistry [3.3.7] Optical Isomerism [New Specification (2016-)]

AQA A-Level Chemistry [3.3.7] Optical Isomerism [New Specification (2016-)]

PowerPoint presentations for topics within the Optical Isomerism [3.3.7] section. These presentations include*: - Slides that have been created from scratch by an experienced A-Level teacher. - Up-to-date information for the new course based on the specification and exam paper questions. - Key points, common errors and definitions. - Detailed theory, designed, on occasion to go beyond the specification to stretch the most able. - Worked examples, practice questions, exam-style questions and animated diagrams. - Slides that are mostly designed to minimise the amount of printing required in lessons. *Not every presentation will necessarily include all of the above, however across the entire course of presentations this is what to expect. Check back for updates as I continue to teach the course, the resource will always improve. To see free examples of some of my older (less detailed work) check out : https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/new-2016-aqa-chemistry-a-level-part-3-bonding-11128604 If you would like current samples of slides before you buy or have any suggestions please tweet: @ChemEdify I appreciate all constructive and honest reviews & hope you enjoy using these resources.
