Numbers- dice game addition, recording and group game

Suitable for Pre-schoolers, Reception, SEN. Suitable for all abilities. Can be used as paired or group work. Great for social skills. Take it in turns to roll the dice, count the number you roll, then mark off the correct number on the worksheet, recording your rolled number. The first to mark off all the boxes wins. Lower abilities- use spotted dice to enable 1-to-1 counting. Middle abilities- use numbered dice. Higher abilities- use numbered dice. Could be extended to get them to start at the number (either 50 or 65) then subtract each throw, recording the sum on the back of the worksheet.

Suitable for paired or individual work. Also great as a holding activity. Roll the dice, write the number in the first box. Roll again then add/subtract/multiply the two numbers. Record on the worksheets. There are 4 worksheets that are great to photocopy and reuse. Differentiation: lower abilities use a dice with spots to enable easier counting. Can use with 1-to-1 correspondence to enable easier counting. Higher abilities can use numbered dice.

Lower abilities- choice of 4 answers for each question to find, cut out and stick after discussing what they can see. Middle abilities- children answer, then can stick the correct answer for each question, or use the choices to copy spellings. The start of the sentence is already typed to model the start of a sentence and the use of capital letters. Lines are also present for practising writing on the line. Higher abilities- they should be encouraged to write full sentences and expand their sentences to include as much detail as possible. Again lines are already in place to allow children to practise writing on the line.

Ideal to laminate and use with Velcro to reuse over and over again or suitable for cutting and sticking. Mindfulness course for the classroom

Mindfulness can really help in class, many schools are resistent because of funding. This bundle can help you to deliver sessions in class. There is no need for you to do the practices with the class as these are provided in the form of recordings. I will continue to update this resource at time but very keen to support you is giving mindfulness a go.
