#### Learning to count for special educational needs/EYFS based on EYFS curriculum.

Based on my experience of teaching an autistic boy with a severe learning difficulty. He was in KS1 but I had to step back with his learning and build the foundations he needed before he could move on. He can now count to 10 and match quantities to numbers. The idea is that anyone can learn as long as they have the appropriate skills/tools. The booklet is based on the EYFS curriculum - so can be used for EYFS children as well - it is definitely not definitive and there’s lots of other demonstrations of learning that your children may show that aren’t in my booklet. In short, please consult the EYFS curriculum.
