Phonics Screening: Twisted Nonsense Words Set 2

Suitable for Year 1 and advanced Reception. A different twist on nonsense words (alien words). Help your students develop their decoding skills with these magically twisted nonsense words. Includes a series of nonsense words, for example ‘chort’, ‘dolu’, ‘krasp’, ‘mobro’ (46 different words in total). These are provided on flashcards and can be used as normal alien word activities for developing decoding skills. These words are also provided in a series of sentences and it is possible to ‘untwist’ these words into real words and discover a hidden sentence, providing an additional challenge for more-able students.
