Four sheets that can be deployed as an activity within a lesson, for revision or as a homework. This lesson is a quick lesson that is designed to give pupils an introduction to political ideology at A2. This can be adapted to suit GCSE as well as AS level. The lesson contains hyperlinks to exam examples and extension reading tasks. Also, there is a brief lecture aspect to the presentation which looks at the history of ideology. There is also a worksheet that accompanies this lesson. This worksheet is easily adaptable for differentiation which can be done by the teacher tailoring it to their class. Set at the lowest available cost to reflect that differentiation needs to be done by the downloader and there is not a lesson plan (which is a separate document to the PPT) that accompanies this resource.

This is a complete lesson about the Feminist Theory of Religion. This covers the essentials of what must be covered for the A Level exam with AQA Sociology and there is plenty of room left to add sociologists that are in line with your personal subject knowledge. The lesson package has a fully adaptable lesson plan, powerpoint, differentiated worksheet and mini activity ideas. It is adaptable for GCSE lessons by changing wording, and removing the evaluative task at the end; however, this is aimed at A Level students at all grades. This also has a good overlap with Religious Studies and has adaptable parts. It is suggested that you place students into pairs at the start of the lesson as there are several group tasks. This is a full lesson which comes with complete powerpoint (timings included), differentiated sociologist chart, and tasks throughout to maintain engagement. It has all information on slides for those that also like to teach from the front - print slides out as a handout to give as core notes for pupils. All tasks are fully adaptable to ability in class and timings can be flexible with this lesson. The lesson covers Hervieu-Leger (2000; 2006) and Lyon (2000) and gives room for more able students to identify wider studies which can support or negate these theories at the same time as weaker students being able to go in depth with the main studies required from the topic. This is a whole lesson planned for revising the content of the topic of God whilst also focusing on essay writing. Written as part of AQA scheme of work but easily adaptable to other exam boards. Included is a writing frame (normally sold separately) which helps students structure their essays. - This is a differentiation tool. This lesson was used by myself as part of a formal observation and is OFSTED ready. It's fully customizable and also employs paired and group work. Use of ICT is good, it also has quirky Star Wars characters in it which can be edited out. The background is winter themed - again, easily changed and content remains the same.

A couple of sheets that can be deployed in a lesson on Marxism, Functionalism, Feminism or New Right. Attached is also worksheets for differentiation. There are also extra sociologists for evaluation.

This a revision lesson that is planned over the course of two and a half hours. Each information sheet is used STRICTLY for revision and to jog the memory of students. This should be used in conjunction with their notes, textbooks and other resources given to them by the teacher. The PowerPoint is basic and ready to be adapted and designed how the teacher wants - some institutions like a uniform design. The timers and sounds are programmed in as there is a change every 15mins. Although not on the PowerPoint, this lesson should end with a quick assessment of the teachers design to check progress.

This booklet contains essential information on the entire topic of religion and belief. There are also activities that students can get on with to aid their revision. This is an excellent booklet to give as revision or as an entire topic resource.

The main case studies in this lesson is Genie and the Czech Twins. This lesson follows the AQA A Level specification – however, the lesson can be adapted easily for other specifications. This is a fully adaptable lesson that employs a discovery learning approach. My lessons can require a variety of methods which can include group and independent research. This is a fully planned lesson which includes a lesson plan, powerpoint, activities and stretch and challenge material. This lesson goes through definitions of religion, introducing sociologists to A2 students that research into this area. There is an extended amount of sociologists included here which are not included on the specification, as well as those that are included. By the end of this lesson, pupils will be able to articulate the different definitions of religion and link them to sociologists that proposed them. Equally, students will be equipped to make their own definitions and have an in-depth knowledge of Ao2 evaluative points about definitions of religion.

This is a full lesson for the development of Liberalism which is part of the political ideologies topic for A2 with Edexcel. This is a fully adaptable resource to suit the needs of any teacher and already has some differentiated resources available for use. This would also be suitable for GCSE but would language used would need editing and tasks would need to be reviewed. This package includes a PowerPoint, lesson plan, worksheet, and differentiated activity. As part of the presentation there is also a 'mini-lecture' aspect which has all the information necessary on the slides. This writing frame was created to help students that struggle to structure an essay at AS/A2 level. It provides a scaffolding with brief instructions about what should be done next in the essay. It was designed with AQA syllabus but would easily transfer to other exam boards when essay questions are used. It's fully customisable and can be changed as you see fit. It works exceptionally well with U-D grade students that need to bump up their grade; it has been tried and tested and works well with these students.

This resource is a complete lesson which is fully adaptable; the content is specifically about Marxism and Sociology. This is a good overview, with extension work, of the perspective of Marxism in regards to religion. There is a worksheet, a differentiated activity, whole lesson presentation (with hyperlink to a good video resource), and an extended reading task for G&T. This is aimed at students at the beginning of A2 but could be easily adapted for those doing GCSE. The lesson range covers target grades of A*- E. It is recomended that you check the differentiated task before using to ensure that it is the right level for your pupils; equally, do also check the PPT and ensure that you have the resources needed (tablets, interactive whiteboard/projector). This is a lesson for Sociology AS Level Research Methods - on Questionnaires. This is a fully planned lesson, with resources, and timings are adaptable to suit the needs of the learners. There is a pairing revision task on P.E.T. issues as a starter. It also includes a differentiated Sociologist Chart which can be used with students that struggle to take notes at appropriate pace set by the teacher.
