I’ve provided the full main lesson, but have also split this into three lessons, with some starters etc There’s also some really nice extras that i’ve added over a few years of teaching this - i’m really proud of it, if anything it’s too much, so you can pick and choose what you want. But wait! That’s not all - I’ve also included: An Introduction Information Presentation and task - with answers and 1 Wider Listening Slides - with all music download and attached. Hello! This is a HUGE project that i’ve developed over the last 10 Years of teaching. It’s a full scheme with lots of lessons, resources and tasks. The basic project involves a performance of ‘Three Little Birds’ by Bob Marley with Resources for Keyboard, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums and Vocals. Additionally, there are extension tasks for the majority of the instruments and Distance Learning Resources, for use with the website: https://www.onlinepianist.com/virtual-piano As well as the core lessons, there are 3 ‘Distance Learner’ lessons with lots of listening and additional fun tasks that help to continue develop students understanding and knowledge of the Reggae Genre. Through the project, there are also opportunities to play other Bob Marley songs. The scheme could be delivered immediatly, but there is also so much stuff here that you could tweak, change and organise stuff to suit your needs more. Enjoy!

KS3 Classical Music Project - Baroque/Classical/Romantic - Practical Work

(0)
Hello, This is a pretty large project that I created as I felt that students weren’t aware of the Baroque/Classical/Romantic Periods by the time they hit GCSE. This project contains 6 pieces (2 from each era) and includes piano music and guitar tab for each piece - everything is differentiated, with notes added on some resources to support students. There are investigation tasks for students to work together, questions to help them learn about the periods, Assessment tasks, Cover Work, An Assessment quiz and a whole bunch more. Every presentation is clear, well thought out and contains all videos and audio you will need. I am confident that this has everything you need to teach Key Stage 3 classes about these Periods and get them performing some great pieces of classical music. I have taught this with Year 9, but could be split over KS3. Enjoy!
