A resource sheet that can be used as revision for students that are visual learners (or low ability). The revision guide can also be used to help students recall and recap language devices as well as the effect of the devices. I am doing the GCSE AQA spec for english with my learners and find that this has helped me in guiding low abilities to comment on the English Language Paper 1 Q2. Can be used with KS3 too. Exploring the context of Macbeth Using resources from the British Library relating to the context of Macbeth, I have created a lesson that focuses on the role of King James and his kingship in Macbeth. The lesson features four activities that link to the context of Macbeth, allows students autonomy to learn using the resources and features timers to keep it paced.

BEST suited for high- medium ability, can be altered for lower ability. The pack features: • All 15 poems colour coded with images, quotes, context, and language/ structure information chunks • Poetry terminology with specific references to AQA poems, i.e. quotes from the poems • An activity to help them make links and comparisons with different poems • Four exam style questions at the end, from which they have to answer one ALSO, with each poem there are three comprehension questions that teachers can mark.
