About East Durham College (Peterlee Campus)
East Durham College is a mixed, non-denominational community further education college for students aged 16 and over. The college has campuses in Peterlee and Houghall, both located in the south-east of Durham.
The college moved into its new Peterlee Campus in early 2009. However, the roots of the area's predecessor college, Easington Technical College, can be traced back to the 1950s. Across both campuses, EDC has about 5,500 students including those studying both full and part time.
