About Pembridge Hall School

Pembridge Hall School is an independent girls' preparatory school in Kensington and Chelsea, London. It provides education for four to eleven year old students and has 422 pupils in its care. 

Pembridge Hall School was founded in 1979 by a religious order of nuns. It moved to its current site in 1983. In September 2002, it was sold to the Alpha Plus Group and expanded into a three-form-entry school in 2003. 

The school is split over two sites. Kindergarten and Years 1-2 are at 18 Pembridge Square, while the Upper School of Years 5-6 is at 10 Pembridge Square. The other years are split over both sites. There are specialist rooms for ICT, drama, science and art, along with two libraries and a gymnasium.

Pembridge Hall strives to provide a stimulating and caring environment so students can reach their potential. Teachers hope to mould students into disciplined, enquiring minds. The ethos is based on tolerance, mutual respect, courtesy and thoughtfulness for others. 

While the preparatory school prides itself on high academic standards, it also emphasises the importance of sport, music, art and drama.
