The Aurora Group is an innovative provider of education and care for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. 

We’re currently looking for an Administrator in Smallfield, Surrey where our Aurora Redehall School supports young people aged 6 – 16 with communication difficulties typically associated with Asperger’s Syndrome and Autism.

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday – 41 weeks per year (term time)

Key Responsibilities:

As our Administrator you be responsible for the efficient management of all day-to-day site-based administration activities with a particular focus on a range of finance and HR related administration tasks.

In addition to general office administration; your role will involve a wide variety of responsibilities including the placing, monitoring and reconciling orders with suppliers and ensuring PO’s are generated and authorised.

A key part of your role will be to collate and record details of staff sickness, new starters/leavers, salary changes and pensions in order to complete a monthly payroll spreadsheet and to check any overtime and adjustments for our support staff.

Additionally you’ll work closely with out central team to assist with on-site recruitment administration activities such as posting vacancies on our ATS, arranging interviews and processing new starters.

Experience:

This would be a great role for an experienced administrator to take on a role with more autonomy and more exposure to finance and HR administration.  Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:

· Previous experience of working in an administration role

· Good level (GCSE) of numeracy and literacy

· Good knowledge and practical use of Excel 

· Excellent numerical skills, exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to record keeping

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

· Display a professional and conscientious attitude

· Be able to work well under pressure
