Classroom Teacher

Grangewood School is a primary school located in Eastcote, West London, for children with severe learning difficulties and physical and complex needs, including autism. We are a member of the Eden Academy Trust family of special schools.

The school is a happy, safe and stimulating place to be, where emphasis is placed on all of the teams within school working together - teaching, support and therapy - to provide a comprehensive and consistent approach to meeting the needs of all our children. Every one of our 98 vital members of staff are committed to helping pupils become independent learners who can reach their individual potential

As well as a multi-disciplinary approach, regard for others is at the core of the school and success for everyone is promoted, valued and celebrated.
We offer a range of additional facilities to support our broad and individualised curriculum, including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory integration suite, nature trail, adventure trail, purpose-built therapy rooms and the use of two minibuses for social and educational visits.

We welcome applications from teachers with experience, newly qualified teachers and teachers new to special education. We have a highly effective induction and training package to support all new members of staff and, as part of the Eden Academy Trust, we benefit from access to extensive expertise in special education and therapy plus a wide range of career development opportunities.
