Classroom Teacher, St Finbarr's Primary School Ashgrove

The successful applicant will:

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
• hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  
   

We are looking for a primary classroom teacher to join us in 2019. To be successful in this role you will be able to meet the following criteria: appropriate qualifications and experience, effective communication skills, an ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers, an ability to attend to detail in innovative and creative practices, and expertise in ICT and a clear understanding of the new Australian Curriculum. Experience in organising school Sports’ Program and /or involvement with Parish Sacramental Program would be desirable. St Finbarr's Catholic Primary School is located in the Brisbane suburb of Ashgrove and is an educational ministry of the Jubilee Catholic Parish. With an enrolment of 200+ students, the school provides a broad and inclusive curriculum which not only promotes the basics but also offers opportunities for the diverse range of interests and abilities of our student body. This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
