Job overview

Term time, 20 hours per week

£11,270-£12,140 per annum actual salary (£26,951-£29,023 FTE)

Clifton High School is an academically selective, co-educational, independent day school for approximately 630 pupils aged 3-18 years. Situated on a beautiful Bristol site, our educational offering is underpinned by a strong pastoral and family ethos. We value individuality and positively celebrate diversity and inclusion in every area of the school.

We are looking to appoint a Compliance Officer to help ensure the School keeps its policies and procedures in line with the latest regulatory and legislative requirements. In addition to taking ownership of the annual programme of policy updates, working with senior leadership, they will play a vital role in preparation for school inspections.

We would like to hear from candidates with a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to interpret regulatory guidance. Experience of maintaining and writing policies is essential; an understanding of school regulation, particularly in the independent sector, would be an advantage.

This is a part time role, 20 hours per week during term times. This is provisionally set as Monday to Thursday between 9.00am and 2.30pm; depending on the successful candidate’s availability, there may be some flexibility on this.

Further details can be found at www.cliftonhigh.co.uk  . Completed application forms should be accompanied by a covering letter of application, to illustrate how the requirements of the post will be met, and emailed to the Head of School, Mr Matthew Bennett, at recruitment@cliftonhigh.co.uk

Closing date for applications: 9am Wednesday 8th December 2021

Interviews to be held week commencing 13th December 2021

Clifton High School is committed to safeguarding children and young people and expects all staff, visitors and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
