Job overview

We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join our very successful and vibrant team. You will provide cover and supervision for classes of pupils during the absence of the teacher, ensuring that the work set is completed. Full training will be given. 

The post is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience working with secondary age children and would be ideal for someone looking for a career in teaching.  The role is also an opportunity for recently qualified teachers who have not yet secured a teaching role who would like to gain extra experience in a classroom.

Hours of work will be 8.30am to 3.30pm  Monday to Friday. (32.5 paid hours per week) term time only- 38 weeks  

Salary – Meridian Trust pay Grade 6 point 7 – 12 £14,963 - £16,520

We are situated to the north of the city, approximately a mile from the centre of Cambridge. There is easy access from the A14 and we are close to the new Cambridge North train station. Cambridge is a vibrant university city with a reputation as a great place to work and live.
